Character creation overhaul removes NGE classes entirely.

- Camping Overhaul — NGE modular camps via Scout/Ranger skills. 2–4× longer lifetimes, crafting XP based on time + visitors, visitor tracking messages, survey modules for sampling bonuses (up to 20%).
- Chef Overhaul — Dynamic food buffs with filling mechanics, species/planet-based digestion, independent stacking, instant consumables, and faction restrictions.
- Spice Crafting & Mechanics — Smuggler-exclusive Spice Crafting XP tree. Nutrition/Quantity/Flavor/Quality Control stats mirror food but with overdose risks, downers (states/DOTs), faction locks via BE tissues, re-dosing penalties, and classification-based fines.
- Bio-Engineer Tissue Integration — New dual-stat hybrid tissues (9 variants in Light/Medium/Heavy tiers) usable in food additives and spice boosters.
- Modifier Bits, Synthesizers & Sockets — Trainers convert XP into skill/stat Modifier Bits. Single-use Weapon/Clothing/Armor Enhancement Synthesizers create attachments. Max 4 sockets per item (Assembly skill gated).
- Repair Kits & Gear Decay — Craftable repair kits (Novice Armorsmith/Weaponsmith/Tailor). Non-PvP death decay (5% uninsured / 1% insured) with variable repair outcomes.
- Loot Schematics Remapped — ~500 schematics opened to CU professions (no NGE class locks).
- Surveying & Sampling Overhaul — Surveyor skill mod expands range, reduces failures, increases yield. Maxed surveying eliminates most sampling pop-ups.
- Secret Research Data — Captain-ranked Imperials and Rebels can purchase this limited-use schematic from faction recruiters. Master Smugglers hand-craft the resulting enhancements Illicit Assembly/Experimentation skills. The schematics require Entangle Resistance provide a 2–10% boost to BE additives, trading some usability for higher performance and lock the item to a faction.

- Expanded CU Profession Commands & Fixes — Full Teräs Käsi, Pikemen, Pistoleer, Carbineer, Rifleman, Medic, Smuggler, Commando, Enforcer, and Squad Leader command trees restored/tuned. Includes posture changes, ranged based accuracy, and state penalties.
- Armor System Changes — Certification removed (any armor equippable, faction-restricted). Unauthorized armor applies movement/attack/accuracy penalties.
- Action Cost & Combat Tuning — Action costs tuned for most abilities (early-game exceptions). Miss chance scaled by distance (15% melee / 20% ranged baseline). CU Defense Modifiers (Dodge/Evade/Block) fully integrated.
